Iraqi Kurdistan

Working on a 3D seismic acquisition project in the Kurdish Autonomous Region of Northern Iraq in the spring of 2019.The project consisted of a 3D survey over a wide area of structurally deformed Jurassic limestone of the Northern Zagros Mountains. My scope for the project was supervising QA/QC of shot points ahead of the actual survey. I was also tasked with supervising the drilling permits acquisition team, meeting with community representatives, local farmers, and elders.
